Success Stories

Mathilda was a newborn when her mum contacted me. Lori wanted guidance as there were no routines in place. She wanted Mathilda to have the best start and to not form any negative sleep associations. Lori was sensitive to crying and didn’t want to resort to ‘cry-it-out’. She also wanted to continue to share a room with Mathilda. Peter, Mathilda’s dad worked FIFO and was away a week at a time.

By 3 months of age, Mathilda was sleeping through. What made this extra special was that Mathilda was diagnosed with having a tongue-tie and even during the time of the operation, she continued to sleep through the night.

“I am so happy with the things we learned from you we have applied them in our own style taking in consideration Mathilda’s needs & our lifestyle. We have found a new freedom in planning outings with family & friends.” – Lori and Peter Abernethy

Zoe wanted to be breast-fed to sleep. Also she liked to be patted, rocked, cuddled to sleep or held. Zoe shared a room with her parents and they wanted her to remain there. Zoe’s naps were also very inconsistent. Zoe was the youngest of two children and she lived with both her parents. Previously Zoe’s parents attended sleep school with their eldest child. They tried the same techniques with Zoe but they didn’t work.

Once Zoe’s Sleepytime Program was implemented, on night 2, Zoe slept through the night and she napped for a total of 4hours in the day.

“It’s now just over 2 months since we started the program, and Zoe is consistently sleeping through the night and her day sleeps are great too! We even went on an overseas family holiday, and she slept on the plane and was perfect each night we were away. We are so thankful for all the support and advice Janelle gave us – it really has changed our lives!!” – Trish and Adam Catlin

Grace needed to be rocked to sleep in a rocking chair. She also wanted to be fed, cuddled and patted to sleep. She would only like to be settled by her mum. Grace was Rizelle’s and Greg’s first child. Dad was a paramedic and worked shifts. Mum was returning to work very soon. Previously Rizelle had read books about sleep.

Once Grace’s Sleepytime Program was implemented, on night 8 Grace slept through the night in her own cot in her very own room.

“We did the 14 day personalised sleep program and we have not looked back. I wish I had done it earlier. The support provided by Janelle was amazing! Janelle really cares about the families she helps. If you are having trouble getting your bundle of joy to sleep do our whole family a favour and contact Janelle. It has truly changed our lives, everyone is so much happier!! Thank you Janelle!!!” ¬ Rizelle and Greg Christensen
